FASHION MEDIA
This project allowed me to research the Vogue magazine in-depth, understanding how it is put together, examining the key media roles and exploring the relationships between fashion brands and the media. Research was undertaken into how fashion magazines have developed within the last decade, highlighting the impact digital channels have had on the media.

The proposal for the May edition of Vogue included:

- A complete Vogue magazine flat plan
- A mock cover
- 3 feature proposals
- A still life photoshoot
- Mood Board for a main fashion shoot
- A shopping page

UNDERSTANDING THE FLAT PLAN
This part of the project allowed me to look closely at what features go into a Vogue magazine as a whole. It required making decisions on how long features should be depending on it relevance for that particular month.
The final flat plan included:
1. Final Cover
2. Mood board for main fashion shoot:
3. Trend Page Still life photo shoot
5. Fashion feature
6. Non fashion feature:
Designing the Cover
The cover design firstly required choosing the cover star. At the time Jodie Comer was coming to fame due to the newly released series, 'Killing Eve'. She was relevant in the media and deemed appropriate as a cover star at the time. I created the cover using Adobe Platforms Photoshop for the manipulation of the final images and InDesign for choosing colour palettes, final typography and text manipulation and export.

STILL LIFE SHOOT
Throughout the process of choosing the correct image I experimented with form, structure and lighting throughout the still life shoot. For the final product I decided a smaller structure of the black boxes with the scarfs expanding out of the frame had a cleaner and more professional overall aesthetic.
