JAM INDUSTRIES
In 2018 I moved to London to begin a career in fashion and started studying at the Condé Nast College of Fashion and Design. To support myself throughout my studies I needed a job. This is when I came across the brand Jam Industries as a pop up store on the iconic Kings Road in Chelsea. As soon as I walked into the store I was greeted by the owners of the brand with warm smiles and enthusiasm for what they had created. I asked if any temporary jobs were available to which the response was "can you start next Saturday?". Throughout this role I learnt first hand what goes into creating a fashion brand. From marketing and social media to sales techniques and stock taking. I tested my creative skills by being given opportunities to create editorial videos, write copy for the brands website, create posts for social media and help mood board new season designs. The brand was built with the intention to build a family of staff and customers, still to this day I'm in contact with and supported by the business as I forge may way into the fashion industry.
WRITTEN CONTENT FOR WEBSITE
I wrote copy for the Jam Industries website which tells the story of the brand. Both the directors and I thought the more personal the content the better, we wanted to give the customer the feeling that they were investing in more than just a piece of clothing, they are becoming part of the Jam Family.
