PREVIOUS PROJECTS
Showcase of Work
FASHION MEDIA
This project allowed me to research the Vogue magazine in-depth, understanding how it is put together, examining the key media roles and exploring the relationships between fashion brands and the media. Research was undertaken into how fashion magazines have developed within the last decade, highlighting the impact digital channels have had on the media.
MARKETING FASHION
This report was created as part of the module Marketing Fashion during my time at Condé Nast College. We were tasked with choosing a brand that we were most interested in and creating an in-depth market analysis and case study on the brands products. This exercise was a great way to fully understand the brands history, position in the luxury market, pricing structures, identity and how the brand promotes its products. Marketing is an industry I am looking to develop my knowledge in as my career progresses.
VIDEO PROPOSAL FOR GLAMOUR UK
This project was created for my final dissertation at the Condé Nast College of Fashion and Design. I wanted to create something that I could imagine being used in industry and a concept that would deem relevant in the current beauty market at the time (created in 2019). My project outlines a market overview of the current GLAMOUR platform and how my proposed idea would sit both contextually and visually on each social platform. The final grade I received for this project was a distinction. This project helped me develop my videography skills as I directed, shot and edited the final video using Adobe PremierPro. I also visually expressed my thought processes by presenting my work on InDesign.
VIDEO IDEA FOR BRITISH GQ
Throughout my time working at Condé Nast as a Video Archiving Assistant I was introduced to the GQ Video Producer. Alongside my contracted work I was invited to help with production aspects of British GQ’s new YouTube Series ‘Me Against the Universe’. As part of this role I was asked to contribute to the ideas and creative concepts for individual videos. I created this pitch deck which was sent to the producer for feedback.
TREND FORECASTING
Trend forecasting is something I’ve always had a particular interest in. I enjoy looking at the forever changing landscape we find ourselves adapting to, predicting societies zeitgeists and how this will ripple its effects to the future of fashion. In another sense, when one fashion trend ‘Zigs’ I enjoy looking at how and when it’s going to ‘Zag’.
In this particular forecast I look at the concept of belonging and how the blur of gender stereotypes is affecting fashion designs.
JAM INDUSTRIES
My time working for fashion brand Jam Industries included working on projects in Editorial production, Social Media, Fashion Buying Process and Sales. The opportunity to work with this brand was invaluable. With the business in its infancy I was able to gain a vast amount of experience in a short amount of time. Please click below to see in depth some of the projects I worked on.
